Cathy'S Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    1 large or 2 medium onions, sliced
    64 oz. can chicken stock or broth
    equal amount water
    4 c. tomato juice
    1 (32 oz.) can stewed tomatoes or crushed tomatoes
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 tsp. Italian dressing or 1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. marjoram
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in large stockpot; bring to a boil over high heat.
    Then reduce and simmer 60 to 90 minutes until cabbage is tender and flavors have blended.
