Old South Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. canned applesauce
    1 c. apple juice
    2 (1 lb. each) cans Louisiana yams, drained and mashed
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine and beat together applesauce, apple juice, yams, butter, nutmeg and vanilla.
    Beat together eggs, baking powder and salt.
    Fold into apple mixture.
    Pour into a 2-quart casserole. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
