Chocolate Cherry Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe II Cherry Supreme cake mix (or whatever brand is available)
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1/4 c. water
    1 egg
    1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) chocolate chips (I have used a 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips)
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Blend cake mix, flour, oil, water, egg and almond extract. Stir in chocolate chips.
    Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, until edges of cookies just begin to brown.
    Cool on cookie sheet for about 1 minute and then remove to rack to finish cooling.
    Makes 3 1/2 dozen, 2 1/2-inch cookies.
