Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter and other shortening, melted together
nutmeg or vanilla to flavor
1 tsp. soda
2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
Preparation

Beat eggs together; add sugar, shortening and grated nutmeg. Sift soda and flour together and stir in enough to make a soft dough.
Use the remainder to roll lightly.
Roll thin and cut with small cutter.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven.
