Hardee'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. Virginia Best self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 1/2 to 2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 eggs
    1 large box vanilla pudding
    1 c. raisins (optional)
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Beat all ingredients together.
    Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 2 loaves and 3 starters.
    Store starter at room temperature; do not seal and do not refrigerate.
