Baked Wild Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raw wild rice
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can consomme
1 (3 oz.) can sliced, broiled mushrooms
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Wash rice thoroughly.
Place in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Add undiluted consomme and liquid from mushrooms.
Let stand 3 hours.
Set oven at 350\u00b0.
Cover casserole and bake 45 minutes, adding a little water if rice becomes too dry.
Heat mushrooms in butter.
Remove rice from oven, lower heat to 300\u00b0.
Stir mushrooms and butter into rice.
Return to oven and bake, uncovered, until all liquid is absorbed.
Makes 4 servings.
