Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    2/3 c. water
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 poppers popcorn
Preparation
    Mix in saucepan the sugar, salt, butter, water and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat to 250\u00b0 on candy thermometer or until a few drops form a hard ball when dropped into cold water.
    Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour in a thin stream over popcorn, stirring constantly.
    Butter your hands and shape into balls on wax paper.
