Steamed White Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. long grain white rice
2 c. water
2 tsp. salt (optional)
Preparation

Wash rice until it is clear.
Put water and rice in pot. Bring to boil; stir with fork.
Cover tightly.
Lower heat to lowest level and cook for 15 minutes.
Cut off heat; leave covered for another 5 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
