German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
4 oz. melted chocolate, unsweetened or 1/4 c. cocoa
Preparation

Beat all ingredients in a large bowl on low speed for 30 seconds, then beat on high speed.
Bake until a wooden pick in center comes our clean.
(Rectangular pan, 40 to 45 minutes; layer pans, 30 to 35 minutes).
