Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large Hershey bars
1 1/3 c. white sugar
2 c. walnuts
2 sticks margarine
Preparation

Line pan with foil or wax paper.
Sprinkle half of walnuts on bottom of pan.
Heat sugar and butter in heavy saucepan until mixture turns a medium brown.
Spread hot sugar mixture over nuts, then sprinkle crumbled Hershey bars over mixture; spread to even out with the back of a spoon.
Sprinkle rest of nuts on top, pressing until even.
Cool in refrigerator until firm.
Break into pieces with a meat tenderizer mallet.
