Perfect Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cocoa
2 c. boiling water
1 c. butter, softened
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine cocoa and water, stirring until smooth. Set aside. Cream the butter, gradually adding sugar. Beating at medium speed with mixer, add eggs one at a time.
Beat in flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Stir in vanilla. Do not overbeat.
Pour batter into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely.
