Icebox Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut
3 c. oats
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. lard
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream
butter,
lard
and sugar.
Add vanilla and eggs. Add remaining
ingredients
and make 2 rolls on wax paper and freeze until
hard.
Take
out
of freezer and slice 1/2 inch thick slices
and bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
If no brown sugar desired, put 1 1/2 cups white sugar.
