Chow Mein Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. celery, diced
    1 onion, diced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 can chow mein noodles
Preparation
    Brown meat lightly and drain off excess fat.
    Add celery and onion; continue cooking until slightly transparent.
    Add the rest of the ingredients, except noodles, and place in a baking dish. Bake, uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0.
    Cover with noodles and bake 1/2 hour longer.
