Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. (heaping) Crisco
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    1 yeast cake or 1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 egg
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1/4 cup sugar, the Crisco and the salt.
    Cool to lukewarm, then add the yeast, dissolved in 2 tablespoons warm water, and 1 teaspoon sugar.
    Add the well beaten egg.
    Stir in about 4 cups flour.
    Mix well, cover and refrigerate. Take out and make into rolls.
    If you don't use them each day, punch down daily to get air out.
    Let rolls rise about an hour before baking.
    Bake for about 10 minutes at 375\u00b0, or until done.
