Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. flour
    3/4 can chocolate syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Spread in a 9-inch square pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Nutmeats are optional.
