Ingredients

1 c. chopped pecans
1 Tbsp. margarine
5 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 tsp. butter flavoring
1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
1 box instant vanilla pudding (3 oz.)
Preparation

Toast pecans in margarine for 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Beat egg whites in large mixer bowl until stiff.
Gradually add sugar; set aside.
In another bowl, beat evaporated milk until foamy. Add slightly beaten egg yolks.
Add balance of ingredients and pecans.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour into freezer.
Finish filling freezer can with whole milk.
Freeze.
