Marble Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chocolate syrup
Preparation
    Sift flour and soda together 3 times and set aside.
    Cream together butter and sugar, then add sifted ingredients, 1/2 cup at a time and beat well, adding eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
    Pour half the batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Add chocolate syrup to remaining batter and pour on top of first mixture and circle with spatula.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
