Blonde Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. canned cream
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except vanilla and nuts into large heavy saucepan.
    Cook medium-high stirring constantly until soft ball (238\u00b0).
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Cool by stirring until starts to thicken and loses its gloss.
    Add nuts, then quickly spread in buttered dish.
    Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
