Diabetic Strawberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. strawberries (may use frozen; thaw first)
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    4 packets Equal
Preparation
    Place strawberries in blender and blend until berries are mashed.
    Place mashed berries in a small saucepan and add cornstarch.
    Cook over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in Equal.
    Refrigerate sauce until well chilled.
    Makes 1 1/4 cups.
    Calories: 8 per tablespoon.
    Diabetic exchanges per serving: Up to 2 tablespoons free.
