Strawberry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. sweet milk
    2 eggs, separated
    40 or more vanilla wafers
    1 1/2 pt. strawberries
Preparation
    Wash, stem and slice in half the strawberries.
    Mix sugar and flour in a saucepan.
    Add part of the milk and blend until smooth. Add beaten egg yolks and rest of milk.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until custard starts to thicken.
    Line bottom and sides of baking dish with vanilla wafers.
    Add layer of half of the strawberries, then half of boiled custard.
    Repeat layer of wafers, rest of strawberries and custard.
