Stuffed Squash (Coosa Mihshee) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice, rinsed in cold water
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef or lamb
    1/2 to 3/4 c. tomato puree
    salt and pepper, to taste
    dash of cinnamon
    dash of allspice
    1 doz. small green coosa squash
    1 large can tomato puree
    2 to 3 c. water
Preparation
    Core the squash and rinse with cold water.
    Combine stuffing ingredients and mix well.
    Stuff each squash, leaving approximately 3/4 inch opening unfilled to allow rice to expand.
