Sweethearts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 c. flour
currant jelly
Preparation

Cream butter and egg yolk.
Gradually add sugar, then flour. Batter should be so you can handle it with your fingers (not sticking to them).
Make small flat balls.
Use round end of a wooden clothespin to make indentation (little well) in center. Pat jelly inside of hole.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
