Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
1/3 c. oil
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can creamed corn
1 large jalapeno pepper, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. milk (sweet or butter)
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except cheese.
Pour half of batter into greased and heated skillet, then pour the cheese into the skillet.
Cover with the rest of the batter.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until brown.
I use an 8-inch square pan and do not preheat.
