Diane'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 cooking apples
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples into buttered 8-inch square pan. Sprinkle with spices.
    Add lemon juice and water.
    Mix flour, sugar and butter until crumbly.
    Spread on top of apple mixture. Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for one hour.
    Makes 6 servings.
