Soft Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Heat molasses and water almost to boiling.
    Set off heat and add butter.
    Combine sugar, flour, salt, soda and ginger.
    Stir into warm molasses and butter mixture.
    Chill.
    Roll on floured board 1/4 inch thick.
    Cut into desired shapes.
    Sprinkle with sugar and bake at 350\u00b0 about 8 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
