Autumn Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2/3 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jell-O
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c unpeeled apples
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. finely diced celery
1 c. frozen whipped topping
Preparation

Bring to a boil for 3 minutes pineapple (undrained) and sugar; remove from heat.
Add Jell-O and stir until dissolved.
Add cream cheese; stir until melted and completely combined.
Refrigerate until cooled.
Fold in apples, celery, chopped nuts and whipped topping.
Pour into a 9-inch dish or lightly greased mold.
Serve on a lettuce leaf.
