Basil Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. loosely packed fresh basil leaves
    3/4 lb. butter, softened (no substitutes)
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    In a food processor, chop the basil. Add butter, lemon juice and pepper. Blend until smooth. Drop by 1/2 tablespoon onto a cookie sheet. Freeze.
    Remove from cookie sheet and store in freezer bags.
    Use to flavor chicken, fish or vegetables.
    Yields 4 dozen butter balls.
