Aunt Edna'S Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    1 heaping tsp. pickling spices
    beets
Preparation
    Clean and cook beets.
    In medium saucepan, add vinegar, water, sugar and pickling spices.
    Heat to boiling and fill jars to cover beets; seal.
    Makes about 6 pints.
