Mulberry Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. mulberries
juice of 1 lime
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. water
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. milk
Preparation

Wash and cut stems from mulberries.
Other fruits in season may be substituted.
Place in bottom of 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Add juice and grated rind from 1 lime or lemon.
Sprinkle the water over top; add sugar and mix.
Dot with butter.
