Calico Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. instant minced onion
    2 tsp. water
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. minced green pepper
    2 Tbsp. minced pimento
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. bouillon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix onion and water; let stand 5 minutes.
    Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
    Add the onion and green pepper and cook and stir until tender but not brown.
    Add and stir in the flour. Gradually blend in the bouillon.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 3 minutes until thickened.
    Add and stir in remaining ingredients.
    Good on cabbage, spinach and broccoli. Yield:
    1 cup.
