Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-4 lb. sirloin tip roast
    3 or 4 medium onions
    8 potatoes
    8 carrots
    4 stalks celery
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place roast in roaster pan.
    Add enough water to just cover roast.
    Add salt, pepper, and onions (quartered).
    Bake in a roaster pan approximately 2 hours or until roast begins to get tender.
    Cut carrots, potatoes, and celery into quarters.
    Place on roast.
    When vegetables are almost tender, combine 2 packages Au Jus gravy mix with 3/4 cups water.
    Stir well.
    Pour over roast and vegetables.
    Simmer another 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
