Chewy Butterscotch Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt butter in a saucepan.
    Add sugar and bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Cool slightly.
    Drop in eggs, one at a time, and mix well.
    Add vanilla and sifted flour and baking powder.
    Stir in the nuts.
    Pour in buttered pan and bake for about 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut into bars when cool.
