Red Cinnamon Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 qt. cucumbers (2 gal.)
1 c. pickling lime
1 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. alum
1 bottle red food coloring
10 c. sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
2 1/4 c. vinegar
2 1/2 c. water
2 bags cinnamon hearts or Brachs cinnamon discs
Preparation

Day 1:
Peel, core and slice cucumbers to make rings.
Mix 1 cup lime with enough water to cover cucumbers and let stand 24 hours.
