Half-A-Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1/4 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream sugar, margarine and shortening until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
    Beat in vanilla.
    In separate bowl combine cake flour and baking powder. Add to cream mixture.
    Add milk and beat for 5 minutes.
    Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
