Apple Harvest Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. milk
1 large banana, cubed
1 c. peeled, grated apple
1 c. seedless raisins
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

In medium bowl cream sugar and shortening.
Add egg and beat well.
Combine flour, soda, salt and spices and add to sugar and egg mixture, alternating with 1 cup milk.
Mix until moistened, then add the remaining fruits and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Can be iced when cool or served with whipped cream or ice cream.
A thin cream cheese icing is good on this, and freezes well.
Serves 15.
