Oven Pot Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 3 1/2 lb. beef roast
4 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 heaping Tbsp. flour
1 large onion
3 or 4 large potatoes
carrots (as desired)
1/2 tsp. dehydrated sweet pepper flakes
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. water
1/4 c. evaporated milk
Preparation

Place roast in large pan with enough cooking oil to cover bottom of pan.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Brown on all sides.
Add pepper flakes and flour to cooking oil; stir until brown.
Cover with tight lid and bake in 275\u00b0 oven for 3 hours or until done.
Cut vegetables in quarters; add to roast the last hour of cooking.
When done, remove from oven; take out roast and vegetables.
Combine milk and water; add to brown mixture in pan. Stir until smooth over medium heat for a nice brown gravy.
