Braised Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 1/2 lb.) broiler chicken
    2 Tbsp. rendered chicken fat or vegetable oil
    1 c. sliced celery
    4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 medium potatoes, pared
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans
Preparation
    Brown chicken on all sides in 5-quart Dutch oven using fat. Remove chicken to bowl.
    Add giblets to fat; brown well.
    Spoon off all fat.
    Add celery; cook 1 minute.
    Stir in water, salt and pepper.
    Return chicken to Dutch oven.
    Heat to boiling.
    Cover; simmer for 20 minutes.
    Add potatoes; cook 10 minutes.
    Add beans; cook until tender.
    To serve, debone chicken.
    Cut into chunks.
