Ingredients

1 c. grated raw potatoes
1 Tbsp. grated onion
2 eggs, unbeaten
4 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Crisco
Preparation

Combine potatoes with onion, eggs, flour and salt.
Drop mixture from tablespoon into skillet containing hot fat.
Flatten each cake with back of spoon.
Fry to a deep golden brown on each side.
Makes about 8 pancakes.
