Ribbon Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 (15 oz.) jar applesauce (unsweetened)
18 double graham crackers
1 envelope Dream Whip topping mix
3 Tbsp. confectioners sugar (10x)
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Put Jell-O in separate bowls (dry).
Add 3/4 cup applesauce to each bowl.
Stir until blended well.
Place two double crackers end-to-end on rectangular platter.
Spread lime mixture (1/4 cup) on crackers.
Place new cracker layer on top.
Spread strawberry mixture (1/4 cup) on new cracker.
Repeat layers (fairly thin) until end with cracker on top.
Prepare topping following directions except omitting vanilla and adding sugar and extract before beating.
Top, then chill at least 30 minutes in refrigerator.
Serves 12 to 14 people.
