Oatmeal Scotchies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oats, uncooked (quick or old-fashioned)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle butterscotch morsels
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Set aside.
In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in oats and morsels. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crispy cookies.
Makes about 4 dozen 3-inch cookies.
