Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 slices bread, broken in small pieces
    4 c. scalded milk
    1 c. cream
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Start combining the pieces of bread with the scalded milk and cream.
    Beat the eggs and sugar; mix well.
    Stir in the bread mixture.
    Add the vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Stir in the melted butter and raisins.
    Pour the mixture into a 2-quart buttered baking dish.
    Set in a pan of warm water, about 1-inch deep.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, or until knife cut in center comes out clean dry.
