Quick Berry Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. strawberry slices
    1 c. fresh raspberries or blackberries
    1 c. fresh blueberries
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 lb. cake (about 12 oz.), cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
    1 (28 oz.) container prepared vanilla pudding
    1 (7 oz.) can aerosol whipped topping
Preparation
    Combine berries and sugar in medium bowl, stirring gently to combine.
    Place single layer of cake slices in bottom of deep serving bowl.
    Top with 1/3 of pudding, then 1/3 of berries. Repeat layers twice, using remaining ingredients.
    Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.
    Just before serving, remove from refrigerator. Top with whipped topping.
    Serve as desired.
    Makes 12 servings.
