Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/4 c. butter flavored Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolks, one at a time; mix well. Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in 4 layers at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
