Greek Style Chicken Livers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 lb. chicken livers, washed and cut in half
    1 medium size onion, sliced
    1/2 tsp. leaf basil, crumbled
    1 can condensed chicken broth
    2 tomatoes, peeled and cut in eighths
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Saute chicken livers and onion in oil and margarine 6 minutes or until browned.
    Stir in flour and basil.
    Gradually stir in broth.
    Heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles, 1 minute.
    Add tomatoes.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle with parsley. Serve over rotini, macaroni twists or rice.
    Makes 6 servings.
