Best Ever Venison - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 to 8 slices venison steak, cut 1/2-inch thick (may substitute eye of round beef steak)
    3/4 c. onion, sliced thin
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. Pizza Quick sauce
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper; pound into meat.
    Brown onion in shortening and remove.
    Brown meat.
    Place meat in a large casserole.
    Put onion on top of meat.
    Mix sauces and pour on top. Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
