Cherry Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. old fashion oatmeal
4 c. fresh frozen cherries
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
butter
4 Tbsp. cornstarch (approximately)
Preparation

Mix together brown sugar, flour and oatmeal with enough melted butter to hold it together when pressed in your hand.
Press 3/4 of mixture into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0. While baking, thicken cherries with cornstarch and flavor with almond extract.
Layer cherries onto crust and sprinkle with remaining crisp.
Bake 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Serve with whipped cream.
