Holiday Cranberry Apricot Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries
    8 oz. dried apricots, chopped
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a double boiler; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until all sugar dissolves.
    Reduce heat; simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Continue cooking until thick.
    If mixture still seems too thin, add 1/4 teaspoon of cornstarch, mixed in a little cold water to thicken. Serve with pork or poultry.
    Delicious and different!
    Makes a great gift when packaged in a decorative glass jar!
