Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large potatoes, peeled and cut up
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. sour cream
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    butter
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in salted water until tender.
    Drain and mash. Add cream cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper; mix well together. Put in a greased 2-quart casserole or baking dish.
    Top with a few pats of butter; cover.
    Potatoes may be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
    Before serving, bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven about 45 minutes or until heated through.
    Makes 8 servings.
