New Orleans Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf stale French bread
    1 qt. milk
    3 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. fresh apple, chopped
    1 c. raisins
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Tear bread into small pieces.
    Soak bread in milk about 5 minutes, then crush with hands or stir until well mixed.
    Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and fruit.
    Pour melted margarine into bottom of thick pan then add pudding.
