Corn Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small green pepper
    3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 (#2) can cream style corn
    2 c. milk
    pepper to taste
    1 large onion
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Chop pepper and onion and saute in bacon drippings; add meat; brown. Stir in corn, milk, corn meal, and seasoning. Pour into greased 2 qt. casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs on top. Dot with butter and bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
